The school of psychological counseling or psychotherapy has been developed for more than a hundred years since Freud. In the past century, many theories and orientations have been developed, and these theories and orientations are the basis for therapists and casework. map.
So among the many psychotherapy theories and orientations, what are the distinctive features of the Jungian approach?
This is exactly the question that Dr. Murray Stein, a renowned Jungian analyst, sets out to answer in his new book, Four Pillars Of Jungian Psychoanalysis.
After years of practice, study and research, Dr. Stein believes that the core of the Jungian method has four foundations. This lecture will describe the main concepts of these four foundations in eight hours.

About Murray Stein
In 1943, Murray Stein was born in a small town in north central Canada. In the 1960s, he entered Yale University to study English literature, and met the great literary critic Harold Bloom, and the two also established a relationship between teachers and friends. In 1969, Murray began studying theology and received a master's degree in theology from Yale University.
Murray was exposed to the work of Jung and Erich Neumann in the late 1960s, and began to study psychotherapy under the influence of Russell Baker (a student of Carl Rogers). It was also under the encouragement of Baker that Murray and his wife went to Zurich and began to study the theory of the Jungian school. He has been analyzed by Popper and Hilde Binswanger, the daughter of the famous psychiatrist, psychoanalyst and founder of existential analysis Ludwig Binswanger .
His rich study experience has made many trends of thought, such as literature, theology, humanistic psychology, psychoanalysis, existential analysis, and analytical psychology, turbulently converge in Murray Stan's heart.
In 1973, Murray qualified as a Jungian analyst and later received his Ph.D. in religion and psychology from the University of Chicago. In 2001, Murray served as President of the International Society for Analytical Psychology.
Today, Murray lives in Goldville on Lake Thun and conducts his clinical, teaching, lecturing and supervisory activities around the world.
